Thank you Kate for all of your hard work the past few weeks- kicking 2011 off right!!! You have thrown your heart and hard work into Resiterns!!! YOU ROCK!

Mardi Gras Parade and Ice Cream!

Bring the family and come join us this coming Saturday, Feb. 26th at 11:45 a.m. to catch some BEADS!  We will be meeting at The Spot at 3204 Seawall to watch the parade and then enjoy some ice cream afterwards. Be there, or be beadless.

Pamper yourself with a Pedicure

We all have lots to do and find ourselves running all over town.   Let's give our feet a rest and some much needed pampering.   On Saturday March 5th we are headed to the Nail Salon for a pedicure!  Check your email for the Evite with all of the details.  Be sure to RSVP as soon as possible so we can ensure we have enough appointments booked.  With Spring just around the corner, it will be the perfect time to pick out some fun colors and pull out the sandals.  See you soon!

Italian Cooking Night!!!

Our Resiterns meeting went on a culinary adventure to Italy this month thanks to Laura! And oh my goodness, what a fabulous, tasty adventure that was...gnocchi al ragu', the most amazing eggplant parmigiana I have ever tasted and tiramisu! I'm so glad I barely ate all day to save room for this night. : ) Even if you couldn't come enjoy the food and friends with us, I hope you enjoy pictures of the fun!

Precious New Arrival - Jalen Knighton

Congratulations to Tourè & Amy Knighton on the arrival of their precious baby boy, Jalen Chè Knighton.  Jalen was born Tuesday, February 8th, weighing 6 lbs. 8 oz. and 20" long.

Resiterns Meeting - Italian Cooking Style!

I just wanted to remind everyone to mark your calendars for this Thursday, February 10th. We will have our meeting at Laura's house then move on to whipping up some yummy Italian food! Please respond to the Evite if you plan to attend as we need a head count prior to the meeting.

Also, I wanted to remind everyone to bring your toiletry donation for the Women's Crisis Center to the meeting on Thursday. We are reverting back to the days of old where we bring donations to every meeting as part of our service committee. Here is the urgent need list found on the website:

Sweet Heart Dinner... 2011

Happy Hearts day- resiterns style!
Tonight- we hosted the resitern's "Sweet Heart Dinner" in our home!  I decided  this should be here for several reasons:
#1- Brie Burns has hosted it in years past in this very home- and it is spacious enough to accomodate quite a few!
#2- I LOVE VALENTINE's DAY! :)
#3- I love my sweet heart:) (pictured)

February Meeting

Hi sweet Resitern friends!
I wanted to let you know that I will not be at the meeting February 10- my sister, Lauren and her baby, Libby are flying in that night to be here for my littles 2nd birthday.  If you need to be reimbursed for anything, please email me at cutiehootie99@hotmail.com and I will make sure a check is at the meeting for you.  If you are unable to attend, I can mail it directly to you as well.
